The thick slab rosewood fretboard features a 16" radius and pristine original medium jumbo fretwire. The quatersawn maple neck has a slim and fast-feeling C shaped profile with good shoulder and lightly scalloped fretboard edges, measuring. Weighing 7lbs 13oz, this Charvel has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, spot-on intonation, and fast action. The five-way blade pickup selector switch offers a variety of voicing options via the HSH configuration, yielding articulate single coil cut and thick, ripping drive. The bridge pickup is a Jackson J80 high-output, distortion class humbucker, with a J-100S vintage-flavored alnico V magnet single coil in the middle position, and a J-50N neck pickup. Featuring a bolt-on quartersawn maple neck, a thick slab rosewood fingerboard, and a lacewood body finished in gloss transparent Lace Red, this Charvel is a top shelf example of an extremely rare model.
